www.hiusa.org. The cost of a yearly membership is
$28 for adults
$18 for seniors
$250 for a life membership
free for youth (under 18 years)
For Internationals:
Purchase your membership before you leave home with your national organization of
Hostelling International.

Collect Welcome Stamps while traveling in the USA.
Here's how it works: Get your introductory
membership card at any HI-Hostel. Collect a welcome stamp each night you
stay as a non-member. After 6 stamps you are a member for a year.
For Groups:
A free Group Membership is available to US
groups. A group membership entitles everyone in the group to member
rates. *You must be the group leader of an organized, US based group of
10 or more people in order to apply for a free group membership.
